We stayed in their house the pocono colonial rental on Tannersville PA, The house was very well equipped for all our needs. 10 people could sleep comfortably with a bed to spare plus couches the house was huge. Area was perfect for camelback skiing and lots of places close by to eat and drink. Communication was great as we were arriving late 10pm the host was able to send us all the directions for the house (key code, WiFi etc.) and also text to see if I could take a phone call to explain the heating, fire etc. which was very helpful. I did find the same house listed on 2 different sites with quite a difference in the prices but given that it was a holiday weekend (presidents) I presume the cost to rent can rise due to demand on one site over another? Apart from that Everything in the house was clean and we had a great stay and would book this house again.

Perfect house. Perfect location. Over President's weekend most of my family and I rented La Chateau Magnifique from Grand Leisure Travel. This former 8 bedroom, 8 bathroom bed and breakfast met and exceeded all of our needs and expectations. The house was perfect for the 23 of us who ranged from the age of 1 to 76! We also brought our two small dogs which was an added convenience to us. Even though the house was pet-friendly, you would never know that pets had ever been in the house.
The game room with a pool table, foosball table and TV was the perfect area to hang out. The dining room was a separate area that was perfect for quiet morning coffee, and for getting together at breakfast, lunch and dinner with most of the family. (Sometimes kids ate first and then adults, but that's normal with our large family.) Originally, we thought we'd all get hotel rooms in the same hotel, but then we realized that we would miss being able to hang out altogether. This house truly helped make memories of a lifetime. (Our group included grandma, 5 of the 8 adult siblings and their spouses, 9 cousins from the age of 27 to 1, and 3 friends.)
When we weren't in the house, we went 5 minutes 'down the road' to the 'Pour House' or about 25 minutes away to Camelback for night skiing. Shoprite is about 15 minutes away, and Wal-Mart is about 20 minutes away.
Communication with Grand Leisure Travel was a pleasure. They responded to all calls, emails and texts. We were greeted with a welcome bottle of wine upon arrival which was just a nice added touch. They answered all of our questions whenever we had them, and the rental agreement outlined everything else. I would be completely confident renting this house again if we had a large group, or any other house offered by Grand Leisure Travel to fit our needs. Booking right through them was convenient and we avoided the Airbnb surcharges. (I originally saw the house on Airbnb.) When I contacted Grand Leisure Travel, they said I could book either way, but through them I save over $100.
Some added details: Firewood is available for the working fireplace, there is a laundry room, the heating system is in multiple zones and is perfect, the kitchen has all your cooking needs including 3 toasters and 2 coffee pots. You may want to bring your own pillows and additional bath towels/hand towels. The house is located on a main road, but it's still really quiet inside. We had 8 cars parked out front and we had room for more. If you forget anything, you can find it at Shoprite and Walmart which are both really close. When you get your welcome email about a week before, there is a link to an app for an added convenience.
I'm not related to anyone at Grand Leisure Travel. I rarely write reviews - good or bad. This time, I just felt that I had to because this was such a positive experience from start to finish.
